If you want durable, long-lasting lighting products you should look to see what the Amish folks are using every day in their off-grid communities!  Based out of Ohio, MillerTech is an Amish company that makes unique work lights, lanterns, headlamps, and DC light bulbs that you can't find at any big box hardware store. 

These lights use either 18V or 20V lithium batteries from your favorite power tool brand like DeWalt, Milwaukee, or Makita or a simple, long-lasting 18650 lithium battery cell.

All of the lanterns and work lights are made right here in the USA by skilled Amish craftsmen.  And, while the LED bulbs are made in China, they are designed by and fully backed by MillerTech and have proven to last years of daily use off the grid.
